When you plan your own trip, the journey begins before you leave, but there are a few steps to follow if you want to enjoy the journey itself: research, decisions and bookings all belong in a particular order. It will change the way you travel.

Plan what matters first
Times, distances, alternatives. Planning well does not mean booking everything: it means distinguishing between what shapes the itinerary and what can remain open. An unexpected change is not always bad news.
Stage 03
The discovery
Travelling means opening up to a new world and to one surprise after another. Leave time for a detour, for a tip picked up on the spot, for a place you come across by chance along the way. Not everything can be learnt from books or from the internet.
